What is Linkiz?

Linkiz is an AI front office and Lead Gen system for local businesses. You give it your website URL; it reads your site and, in minutes, becomes a live assistant that answers visitors, captures inbound leads, and keeps outbound Lead Gen work visible in the dashboard. It’s honest by design: when it doesn’t know something, it says so and captures a callback instead of guessing.

What v1 does (and doesn't)

Today Linkiz answers website visitors over a chat widget, captures leads to your team, and gives you a Lead Gen workspace for outbound opportunities. A second capture channel — an embeddable lead-capture form — uses the same one-line install pattern from Settings. For businesses with an activated SMS number, Linkiz also texts back missed callers (with optional after-hours copy driven by your business hours), sends appointment reminders, and asks for reviews; Settings always shows the truthful status of that channel (not yet activated, dry-run, or live) so it never silently reads as on. Appointment requests are request-to-book: your team confirms them in the dashboard, Linkiz checks the connected Google Calendar for conflicts, then writes the Google Calendar event and emails the visitor. When a selected time is busy, the dashboard offers nearby open windows your team can apply. Confirmed appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled from the dashboard; Linkiz patches or removes the Google Calendar event before updating the appointment row. It does not answer the phone yet, and it does not do live free/busy booking at request time. Everything in these guides describes behavior that is actually shipped.
